In May 2005 a group of third year pupils went to the Killowen Outdoor Pursuits Centre for a weekend along with Mr Mc Cullough and Mr O’Neill .

A range of activities is on offer there including rock climbing ,abseiling , hill walking ,canoeing ,wet and dry bouldering , traversing ,football and sailing .

Third Years are given the opportunity to experience these activities and the venue varies and last year we went to Shannagh-more near Newcastle which also proved very popular with our boys .
