International Chemistry Competition

Two Abbey students were placed in the top five percent in the Avogadro Examination organised by the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Neil McAleavey who is studying A' Level Chemistry, Biology, Maths and French came 9th out of an international entry of some 6,000 students. Christopher Jacobs who is studying A' Level Chemistry, French and Biology and AS Geography was also placed in the top five percent.
