3rd Year visit Stormont.

At Stormont we arrived and stood in the Great Hall. Everything was symmetrical. The building is 365 feet wide-one foot for each day of the year. We then watched a presentation about Stormont. It explained what Stormont was and what MLAs are.

We played games like a memory game with cards with things to do with Stormont on them and a ‘finish the sentence game’.

We went to the assembly chamber where all the MLAs sit. We also had a vote. We also went to another chamber. It was called the Senate.

We really enjoyed our day in Stormont and it was interesting to learn about the Northern Ireland Assembly.
