CCEA have recently contacted the Abbey Christian Brothers' Grammar School, Newry with the great news that two of last years fifth years achieved first and second place in their GCSE Irish examinations.

Shane Quinn was joint 1st and Darren Magee was joint 2nd.

This continues the excellent tradition of The Irish Department in the school being one of the top achieving departments among all schools in Northerd Ireland.
