The Edmund Rice Schools Trust (Northern Ireland) is comprised mainly of lay men and women and has responsibility for maintaining the Catholic ethos of the primary and post-primary schools held by the Trust. This mission continues the work of the Christian Brothers, who developed and maintained these schools throughout Ireland, often at great personal sacrifice and with the loyal support of parents and parishes of the Catholic community.
