Abbey past pupils and Armagh players, 'The Twins', John & Tony McEntee, made the trip back to the Abbey today to make the draw for two highly saught after All - Ireland tickets.
We are honoured today by the return to their Alma Mater of two of our most famous sporting past pupils – John and Tony McEntee – now more commonly known throughout Ireland as ‘The Twins’.
We enjoyed their tremendous successes last year in winning Armagh’s first All-Ireland Senior football Title and the whole Abbey Community joins today in wishing them the very best of fortune in their attempt to win an historic double on Sunday 28th September in Croke Park.
John and Tony were presented with a momento by Mr D McGovern (Headmaster), to mark to occasion.
