In November, students from 6 th and 7th Year participated in the U.K. Senior Mathematical Challenge run by the University of Leeds. The school was awarded eight bronze certificates, 2 silver certificates and 1 gold certificate. Best in school and gold certificate winner was Steven Campbell.
Included in the picture are : Patrick Woods, Darran Treanor, Paul White, Fearghal McShane, Darren Magee, Martin Murtagh, Stephen McElroy, Steven Rice, Robert Love, Ryan Lynch and Steven Campbell. Presenting the certificates are Mr Gerry Toal, Maths and Numeracy Adviser for the SELB and Mrs Sinead Burns, Head of Maths .
