I had a very interesting first year at the ABBEY Grammar school in Newry. It started off when I had to go into school on the bus and walk up to school by myself and my friends. When I reached there I had to wait in the foyer and at this point I was very nervous. My friends and I all met up and were all talking . Then we were told to come into the gym and there Mr Mc Govern explained some things about the Abbey. We were sent to our classes and our form teacher told us all about the ABBEY.

It was all new at the ABBEY and I met my new classes mates. Through the year I new more about my class mates and I new my teachers better like in Mr Lennon's class I don't speak out any more. I had to work harder in the ABBEY but I just pulled through.
