2011 Zambia Team

2011 Group

In April 2011, a group of ten students and four teachers from the Abbey Grammar will have the life-changing experience of the Zambian Immersion Project, the single most important aspect of the schools efforts to raise awareness of and combat the problems of the Developing World.

From a group of 40 students who applied, the ten lucky students will prepare for a life changing visit to Livingstone. They will follow in the footsteps of 35 Abbey students who have previously spent time in Livingstone. A few weeks ago the group where fortunate to hear the words of wisdom from Sister Mary Courtney and Sheila Rive, who between them have spent over 80 years living and working with the Underprivileged in Africa.
