Welcome to the Zambian Immersion Project - Intranet

Abbey Zambian Immersion Programme focuses on providing our current 5th and 6th year students with an opportunity to visit Livingstone, Zambia, in a spirit of “being with people”. In so doing you will become aware of the issues associated with poverty and justice in this developing world but will also see the beauty that Zambia has to offer.

The Abbey Zambian Immersion Programme was established in 2003 with 7 students and 3 teachers making the long trip to Livingstone. This was repeated in 2005, 2007 and 2009. Next April we will do the same again. The dates of the trip are 6th April - 22nd April 2011.

To apply : Talk about the possibility of your going to Zambia at home. If you reach the conclusion you would to be considered for going - download the application form via the link opposite. Fill the form in by the deadline - 21st May 2010 and give the form (making sure it has been signed at home) to Mr Grogan.
